Setting you up for success.

The problem of homelessness is getting worse. According to the Annual PIT count estimates, homelessness rose dramatically from 2022 to 2023, reaching a record-high 653,104 people experiencing homelessness on a single night, with chronic homelessness increasing by over 12%.

Each year, communities compete against each other for a limited set of funds from HUD to continue the work of ending homelessness and ensure their workforce are equipped with the tools to succeed. Attempts to fulfill training requirements can feel like just another compliance checkbox. Providers trudge through their mandatory training as quickly as possible. This is an area where your NOFO application may not earn the highest score.

Our training is designed to tap deeply into the Housing First approach, with our firsthand knowledge of high-fidelity Housing First programming, trauma-informed care, racial and queer equity, and housing case management. We are experienced facilitators who will engage homeless response staff in conversations that remind them why they got into the field in the first place. We will challenge the idea that homelessness is a moral problem that can be solved through compliance to our programs through persuasion, withholding resources, and coercion.
